Appear TV offers operators the most advanced head-end architectures in the marketplace for delivering analogue and digital broadcast services to their subscribers.

Appear TV head-ends are designed with modularity to achieve the most flexible solution with the highest density. We offer multiple inputs (IP, ASI, DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2 and DVB-C); descrambling/scrambling (DVB & AES) as well as a variety of output options (IP, ASI, QAM, COFDM, FM radio and analogue TV). The modularity and high flexibility of our head-ends make them suitable for multiple network architectures: streaming and multiplexing of digital content over IP based networks and conversion of digital content for analogue networks (and distribution of TV and FM radio). Recent Innovation includes: Broadcast quality encoding, transcoding, DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2 modulators, COFDM modulator for Cable, bulk descrambling (250 services), EPG schedule regenerator, dynamic digital audio levelling and HD bulk decoding.

Resilience is built into the Appear TV architecture. Appear TV modules are hot-swappable, including power supplies and fans. Pro MPEG FEC support is optional, and Appear TV’s redundancy solution offers full or partial redundancy for a variety of failure scenarios.
