General Job Profile
A Technical Sales Consultant builds customer and partner relationships based on expertise and trust, supports the sales process by acting as the expert on the technologies involved. Is responsible for presentations and demonstrations of solutions (internal / external)
Supporting the sales activities by defining technical solutions, and working with 3rd party suppliers and partners to create complete working and competitive systems.
The Technical Sales Consultant works closely with the sales department, project management and engineering group
Key area of responsibilities:
Is responsible for defining:
Architecture,
Calculations and the system design for applicable RFQ’s within defined time frames;
Delivering technical documentation;
Knowledge transfer to the engineers.
Transferring RFQ dossiers to project managers;
Part of project team as consultant or technical advisor;
Remaining fully informed of latest technical and product developments;
Following the commercial market trends;
Maintaining partner and customer relationship;
