The Sales/Account manager is well versed in the area of digital television & network operators for which IMPEQ delivers end to end turn key solutions and a high quality standard of services. The role of Sales/Account manager contributes to increasing sales volumes and gross margin at existing clients and/or new prospects and furthers relations in the account.
In fulfilling the role you will be able to think strategically across all our customers & prospects and vendors to identify, develop opportunities and provide optimal solutions & services. A consultative sales approach is demanded by customers with emphasis on technical aspects of Cable (HFC, CMTS, EQAM) or IP access networks.
The Sales Account Manager will join a team that has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality solutions and services to leading broadcasters and other digital content network clients. The established client business provides annually multi-million Euro revenues to the group.
Key area of responsibilities
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and securing new business opportunities at these existing or related client accounts. The Sales Account Manager will meet or ideally exceed sales objectives by promoting and selling the IMPEQ portfolio through professional sales techniques and developing long-term customer relationships.
Representing the company at regular customer meetings, events, supplier seminars and global trade shows the Sales Account manager will create maximum opportunity for and market awareness of the company. The Sales Account Manager will be expected to implement account plans, to ensure protection and growth within current and new markets the company is active in.
General objectives
The successful Sales Account Manager will have a proven track record in a technical sales environment related to the Cable or IP access networking segment and shall be able to demonstrate an excellent business aptitude for the identification of opportunities, ability to propose and present convincing solutions and negotiate and close high value contracts.
The preferred candidate will have a technical / engineering / scientific background and experience in the cable TV (HFC, CMTS, EQAM) or IP network infrastructure industries, and awareness of the upstream video architectures.
