The transmission network engineer provides support (maintenance, modifications,
change requests like equipment replacements) to broadcast facilities and
networks for Satelite Broadcast Companies.
Key area of reponsibilities
Maintaining Broadcast infrastructure (Head End network and broadcast networks) and execution of daily broadcast infrastructure operations by execution of routine checks, change implementation and problem solving.
- Design, work preparation and implementation of system/ network modifications/ changes/extensions, including creation/ rework and archiving documentation;
- Maintaining conditional access platforms (CASIS, Nagravsion, Viaccess, Irdeto) which includes controlling and changes implementation EPG, EIT data and parameter settings;
- Acting as a customer specialist when answering customer requests by translation requests into operational and/ or technical solutions;
- Knowledge sharing with colleagues with documentation and presentations;
- On call duty outside office hours and 2 shift pattern on short term.
