Veldhoven (NL), October 1, 2009. IMPEQ Technologies and Benelux satellite DTH provider M7 Group SA have entered into an agreement for Managed Services of M7 Group’s digital head-end and video network infrastructure in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg. IMPEQ will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the DVB-S platforms, third party vendor management and monitoring of the broadcasted services. The agreement covers activities for the Canal Digitaal, Telesat and TV Vlaanderen brand names.
IMPEQ will service the platforms and interconnecting video network infrastructures in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. The operations employees of Canal Digitaal will transfer to IMPEQ. Additionally IMPEQ will add its own system support expertise and will deploy its Service Analysis and Monitoring tooling (SAM), which will provide valuable performance and availability metrics of the broadcasted services.
